yellow pill

Her sweet yellow shade—
a ray of sunshine
burns in the palm of my hand.

What she offers:
a fated companionship,
toxic but true.

Come in.

With the weight of a feather,
she strikes—

Dream-like tranquility
lights up my eyes.

She fades—
slow,
like the pain
she would cause in the end.
